The WAM Team
Phil South, founder and Executive Director of World Action Ministries, moved from secular business in 1969 to use his administrative skills for Christian organisations. For 12 years, from 1977 to 1988, he served as the administrator for MWE and "The Filey Christian Holiday Week". In 1986 he founded WAM in order to extend his administrative brief beyond that of just MWE. Phil also preaches widely across the UK and USA.

Jenny Beardsmore, Administrator and Financial Controller of WAM, joined MWE from the business world as Phil South's assistant in December of 1977. Jenny has wide responsibilities in the leadership of her local church but travels extensively for WAM and it's many ministries.

Miriam Godridge, joined WAM in 1998 as an Administrator to help deal with WAM's growing ministry having previously spent 10 years in the hotel and catering industry.
